This year sun-seeking travelers have something extra special to consider: the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions — where world-class golf meets world-class entertainment. The most-watched LPGA event of the season will take place January 15–21, 2024, in Lake Nona, Florida, and tickets are open to the public.

Day One     

Morning

Lake Nona Golf & Country Club’s gates open bright and early to welcome spectators for the event, and tee time is around 8 a.m. Consider stocking your Hilton Grand Vacations Suite's kitchen on check-in day with quick and easy foods for your stay, such as breakfast options. 

Plan to have breakfast in before leaving for Lake Nona, and remember to leave yourself plenty of time as you get a lay of the land.

Afternoon

Enjoy Round 1 of the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions and the first official day of top-notch hospitality. Watch live as beloved celebrities and world-renowned LPGA athletes battle it out on the green for a combined $2 million purse. Gates close during the afternoon — leaving you plenty of time to enjoy your Hilton Grand Vacations resort before the evening’s events* begin.

Grab lunch by the pool, retreat to your Suite or enjoy the prime Florida weather in the green spaces available at Hilton Grand Vacations’ Orlando resorts

Evening

Climb aboard the complimentary shuttle back to Lake Nona Golf & Country Club for the fun-filled night ahead. Enjoy unforgettable entertainment, including well-known musical artists and mouthwatering food and beverages.

The 2024 Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions features a three-night private concert series headlined by Pitbull, Elle King, Styx and REO Speedwagon – an eclectic lineup of artists spanning a diverse range of genres. 

Day Two

Morning

It’ll be another early wake-up call to make the first tee-off. So, check out one of the on-site breakfast options at your resort — from Starbucks to grab-and-go meals at the sundry or marketplace and even sit-down dining; Hilton Grand Vacations’ resort-style amenities offer Owners and Guests an ideal launch pad to the day ahead. 

Afternoon

Enjoy Round 2 of the golf tournament as the competition on the course intensifies. Select Owners and Guests can access on-course food and beverage, depending on their ticket tier. 

Don't fret if your tickets don’t afford you food and beverage, Lake Nona is brimming with unique experiences. Plan to check out the area’s local attractions before returning to the resort for downtime.

Less than five miles from the course is Boxi Park, a one-of-a-kind incubator for new restaurant concepts and a local favorite worth the stop.

Enjoy up-and-coming eateries while you explore this family-friendly spot, complete with a playground, lawn games, a sand volleyball pit and more. 

Order: Try the lobster roll, and wash it down with a passion fruit mojito.

Evening

Allow for a low-key night ahead of Saturday’s festivities. Start the evening with dinner at another Lake Nona hot spot: Canvas. This restaurant and market with lakeside dining offer modern American cuisine focusing on seasonal, regional produce and fresh seafood. 

It’s easy to see why Canvas was awarded the critics and reader’s choice awards for best outdoor dining by the Orlando Sentinel. Then, top off your evening by enjoying all that Hilton Grand Vacations’ Orlando resorts offer. Put your feet up with a nightcap on your private balcony or soak up the ideal Florida weather from a hot tub. 

Day Three

Morning

Now that you’re familiar with the area try a local spot for breakfast. Veg’n Out is one of Lake Nona’s newest locally owned eateries and promises thoughtfully sourced seasonal and nutritionally balanced vegan fare. The menu features fresh, cold-pressed juices, salads and acai- and grain bowls. Try the popular Four Seasons bowl, and consider ordering ahead to skip the line. 

For travelers craving a good old cup of joe, stop by Foxtail Coffee, a locally owned artisan coffee company founded by two South Florida friends. The Lake Nona location is just one of 29 Central Florida stores. Here, you can get nearly any type of brew you like — from Ethiopian varieties to matcha drinks and specialty teas. 

Afternoon

As many golf enthusiasts will attest, day three of modern-day golf tournaments is known as “moving day,” where competitors are vying for rank — typically leading to a lively day on the course. And, considering the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions’ all-star roster, you should expect no less. 

Grab a late lunch at the resort, and enjoy a bit of R and R as you pace yourself for evening fun off the green.   

Evening     

Plan to take the shuttle from the resort to attend the private open-air concert held in the event tent for a once-in-a-lifetime experience complete with an exclusive show, food and an open bar throughout the evening. 

Day Four

Morning

As the final tournament day and the last full day of your getaway, it’s a great opportunity to finish any breakfast foods in your Suite or enjoy a grab-and-go option at the resort.

Afternoon         

The competition will be fiercest in the final round as world-class LPGA athletes and their celebrity counterparts putt their way toward $1.5 million in official prize money and a $500,000 purse, respectively.

Be sure to claim a spot near the 18th hole for the awards ceremony immediately following play, concluding the 2023 Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions.

As you head back to the resort to recharge, stop by 407 Cafe for a treat from this family-owned and -operated European-inspired cafe. Local favorites include high-quality gelato, artisan coffee and several choices of crepes — both sweet and savory. 

Evening

End your golf-themed winter getaway by taking a few swings yourself at Drive Shack. This crowd-pleasing spot offers a creative spin on the sport and turns golf into fun games like Shackjack, a nod to classic blackjack, and Monster Hunt, where you destroy monsters to save a princess.

Be sure to bring your appetite because this one-stop shop has mouthwatering food and beverages.
